The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Cantabria will be the venue for the XXXIX AEDEM International Annual Meeting.

 

The origins of the Faculty of Business and Economics Studies date back to the former School of Commerce, founded in 1950, where the qualifications of Expert and Commercial Professor were taught. In 1971, after the approval of the General Law of Education, the study plans were reorganized and the University School of Business Studies was created, attached to the University of Santander in 1973. In 1987, the School was transformed into a Faculty.

 

It currently offers training adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), with degrees in Business Administration and Management (ADE) and Economics. It also offers three double degrees (Law-ADE, Economics-ADE, and ADE - Labour Relations). The academic offer is complemented by official master's degrees, among which the MBA and Erasmus Mundus in the Economy of Globalisation stand out. These programmes are constantly updated to respond to market demands and promote the labour insertion of their students.
